As the Fertilizer Manufacturers of Pakistan Advisory Council (FMPAC), we adhere to a set of fundamental principles and guidelines embodied in this charter. It governs our operations and guides the conduct of our member organizations, ensuring sustainable growth and a meaningful contribution to Pakistan’s agricultural sector.
- To foster and sustain a positive image of Pakistan’s domestic fertilizer manufacturers among stakeholders, including government bodies, regulators, and gas suppliers.
- To avoid conflicts of interest—actual or potential, present or future, financial or otherwise—that may arise individually or collectively among members.
- To refrain from supporting or associating with any cause that may negatively impact the fertilizer manufacturing industry in Pakistan.
- To strictly avoid activities or information-sharing that may breach any law, including the Competition Act of 2010.
- To advocate common issues affecting the industry, provided no conflict of interest exists among member companies.
- To organize and participate in approved media engagements such as press briefings, conferences, and Q and A sessions.
- To actively engage in industry-related workshops, seminars, exhibitions, and conferences.
- To consider members’ specific recommendations in support of national agricultural, economic, and social development.
- To maintain strong relations with national and international fertilizer associations and organizations.
- To initiate or support actions aimed at resolving genuine operational grievances of member companies.
- To maintain open communication with farmers and fertilizer dealer associations for mutual benefit and facilitation.
